July

We redid the siding on the garage and the workers stomped all over the plants and it was really disappointing. And then we were going to move so I couldn't do anything new. But, there are pussy willow branches rooting and the trampled sedum stalks are thinking about rooting.

geraniums are just as happy as the asparagus ferns. I'll need to re-pot one of the ferns so I can take it to school.

I wish there were more bees.

Some weeds you feel bad for.

June 16: three week's time.

the front of the house
this tree on the right of the porch I planted from a cutting when i was eight.

the sedum are slowly gaining confidence

one of our small succulents

very much looking forward to dividing this bee balm at some point

I'm a little worried about these plants around the garage once the reconstruction begins

these. I think I'll put some at the end of the driveway and probably try to develop that yellow kind and that blue kind

this is where they started.

this one on the left is the one that's supposed to be curly

May 21

Not much has happened, the rose bushes are toast- like I knew they would be, whatever. anyhow. I'm leaving the garden for three weeks so I watered and I'll just hope all will be well. I have to come up with a good place for the new flower bed. The house will (soon) be under construction so it's hard to not plant.

May 17

I spread four bags of cocoa shells today. mostly in the front bed but some on the south bed behind the garage- near the sad transplanted rose bush. ugh. the bee balm should be good though- it's much bigger.
